WELCOME TO OUR NEW CHURCH BLOG!

This is the very first post, so it's fitting that the first post is about why we decided to name the blog

BRICK X BRICK ("Brick By Brick"). As you well know, everyone in the area knows us better as "The Red Brick Church" than "Community United Church of Christ." And we think that's just fine, but we also want them to know who we are as a church family, as well as a church building.

The posts you be reading here will voice our beliefs, illustrate our ministries, promote our events, and help us communicate UCC news that directly affects our church, and share blog posts from other sources that are relevant to us all.  

What is your part in all this? Well, we hope you come back often to read new posts, but there's more we ask.  First, feel free to comment on the posts you read. Second,  we invite you to share ideas for a new post. Just email us with your idea.  Third,, If you look at the top of this post, you'll see several different ways to share a post on your own Facebook page, through Google Share, via Twitter and your LinkedIn accounts.

Most of us have a Facebook page, so that's the easiest way let your friends and family know who we are as a church family – The  Community United Church of Christ family – who just happen to call The Red Brick Church "home,"
