FIRST WEDNESDAY OF MONTH

 Midweek Devotions               5:30 PM

At a time when religion is too often portrayed as narrow-minded and exclusive, we are rasising our voices for alternative vision. One where God is all-loving and inclusive. Where the Church of Jesus Christ welcomes and accepts everyone as they are. Where your mind is nourished as much as your soul. Where Jesus the healer meets Jesus the revolutionary. Where together we grow a just and peaceful world.

Every visitor is also invited to share in the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.  And all children are invited to our virtual Sunday School session held each week during the church service at 9:00 am .

 See you here!

ABOUT UCC

A church of firsts and of extravagant welcome.  A church where "they may all be one" (John 17:21).

The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church to join faith and action.  With over 5,000 churches and nearly one million members across the U.S., the UCC serves God in the co-creation of a just and sustainable world.

Since 1957, the United Church of Christ has been the church of firsts, weaving God’s message of hope and extravagant welcome with action for justice and peace. Together, we live out our faith in ways that effect change in our communities. Our church works to help make a difference in  local, national and global communities.

A LENTEN MESSAGE

FROM OUR PASTOR

Lent is not meant to be a season of heaviness so much as a season of honesty. It’s an invitation to pause and take stock—to notice what we’ve been carrying that no longer gives life. Old worries that loop endlessly. Habits that drain more than they give. Resentments that quietly take up residence in the corners of our hearts. The clutter of busyness that keeps us from being present to God, to one another, and even to ourselves. In Lent, we’re gently invited to loosen our grip on those things. And even as we move through this reflective season, we do so with the promise that Lent never has the final word.

May this Lenten season be a time of gentle release—and hopeful embrace—as together we prepare our hearts for the new life that is always on the horizon.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Tamara
