Each Sunday morning we meet at 9 am for worship, prayer and hymn singing. In the tradition of the United Church of Christ, our pastor, Rev. Cathy Burbury weekly creates a worship experience which touches our heart and our head. We follow the three year cycle of the lectionary in our scripture reading and sermon teaching.
On the first Sunday of Advent, we decorated our Chrismon Tree using a litany of scripture, symbol explanations and hymn singing while the Chrismons were placed on the tree by members of the congregation.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Our hymn singing is accompanied by our very talented organists, Ursula, Dorie and Becky. Ursula has been playing for our church for 75 years!! Dorie is an accomplished pianist who has accompanied various choral groups throughout her years. Becky is the chorus/choir teacher at Medford Middle School.
