Rev. Catherine B. Hinman - Pastor

Rev. Catherine Burbury Hinman is a native of Whitinsville, Massachusetts and a graduate of Goddard College, Plainfield, Vermont and Bangor Theological Seminary, Bangor, Maine. She served the yoked parish of Third Congregational Church, UCC, East St. Johnsbury, Vermont and Lower Waterford Congregational Church, UCC, Lower Waterford, Vermont; Messiah United Church of Christ, Washington Mills, New York; Faith United Church of Christ, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and Salem United Church of Christ, Elizabethville, Pennsylvania, prior to being called to The Community United Church of Christ, Medford, Wisconsin in July of 2008.

Rev. Cathy enjoys visiting with people and hearing their life stories and how they have lived out their faith. When not pastoring, Cathy enjoys reading mysteries, singing, crocheting prayer shawls, making beaded necklaces and earrings, and teaching herself to quilt. Cathy has been married to Roger Hinman since 1987 and they are the parents of teens, Liz and Rich and dogs, Darwin and Samson.
